If you thought only one Shake Shack in Central Florida wasn’t enough — you were right.
Shake Shack reportedly has signed a lease for a restaurant on Orlando’s International Drive.
Organizers shared the news with attendees at an industry event hosted by the I-Drive Resort Area Chamber of Commerce on Aug. 14.
The eatery, Central Florida’s second, will be at Unicorp National Developments Inc.’s $200 million I-Drive 360 complex and will occupy the space next to the recently opened Outback Steakhouse.
The New York-based burger joint had been in talks to bring the eatery to I-Drive, as previously reported by Orlando Business Journal .
Shake Shake opened its first local eatery July 30 at Unicorp’s Lakeside Winter Park plaza, which is anchored by niche grocer Trader Joe’s.
